Founded by elders of THQ Nordic, CI Games and Vivid Games, the Polish studio Dark Point Games raised the veil on his first game. Inspired by Diablo and Dark Souls, of his own admission, Achilles: Legends Untold offers us as his name The indicates to enter the tough skin of the legendary hero of the Trojan war.
Chosen by Hades to represent him against the son of the God of War Ares, Achilles will face hordes of mercenaries, skeletal soldiers, half-gods and other mythological creatures. This isometric ACTION-RPG is more accessible to beginners than the famous franchises in which it is inspired by and reserves its most difficult challenges at secondary missions. Based on the sequences and use of the faithful shield, the combat system will of course allow to use different weapons, from the sword to the ax passing through the spear, not to mention that the arch can count on hephaystos, the god Blacksmiths, to make new weapons in exchange for materials.
In addition to equipment issues, the hero will develop at the same time as a constellation-shaped skills tree. If the campaign is a solitary affair, the game will include cooperation mode to explore couple dungeons. Achilles: LEGENDS UNTOLD will begin in the first quarter 2022 on Steam as part of early access that initially will offer 20% of the content and 30% of the features expected in the full game. Developers believe that the final outing will take place a year later, early 2023.
