Comeback mismatched: Tebov already released in Jacksonville
After years as Fast Baseball Professional and College Football Expert, Tim Tebov had dared a new start in the NFL in May. He wanted, unlike between 2010 and 2012, but no longer quarterback, but Tight End. And came under the Jacksonville Jaguars.
No three months later the comeback attempt has already failed again. On Tuesday, the now 34-year-old announced that he was released from the Jags. I am grateful for the heights and also the depths, the chances and the setbacks. I never wanted to make decisions for fear of failure and am grateful for the chance to pursue a dream, he wrote. Thanks to the Jaguars and all who accompanied me on this journey.
In 2010, Tebov had been selected after a much careful college career at 25th position in the draft of Denver Broncos and for a short time one of the most popular figures of the NFL. However, the star of the star quarterback was faster than he had risen - two years later, the NFL career was over again.
