Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Update 6 Patchnotes

Update 6 is there for Elite Dangerous: Odyssey , and here is the complete list of changes and corrections added to this patch.

Developer Frontier Developments PLC will now publish a new patch for Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. This will be update number 6 and should soon be released for the PC version of the game.

During the patch is installed, the downtime of the game is serviced. The downtime takes only about 15 minutes and starts 13: 45 UTC / 14:45 BST today on July 29th.

One of the highlights of today's patch are visual improvements. The developer has improved the appearance of many planets and adds better colors and textures as needed.

Improvements to the Ki were also made and many error corrections were implemented. You can read the highlights of today's patch below.

Updates of Note

  • Planets! Visual improvements to planet surfaces, color and texture have been implemented.
  • Equipment option Added to the purchase module and stored immediately instead of installing you on the ship (if you have seen the Supercruise News of this week, this was what Bruce wanted to scream, but we needed a double review of the status).
  • Revision of the Camera Suite - Instead of moving movements through the geometry and hide the camera at occlusion ("The Blackout"), the camera is now testing for collisions and prevents movement in colliding geometry (find out more information and discussions on these improvements from Update 6 You here ).
  • AMD Super Resolution has now been integrated.
  • You should now detect an increase in the game output because the rendering is activated at a lower resolution and then highly scaled instead of rendering with a constant full resolution.
  • Added to this is the additional bonus of this integration, which makes the game look even more beautiful.
  • Can be used to high scaling the resolution when supersampling is set to less than 1x output resolution.
  • Enforcer troops armed with missiles were added to the game (they use the KA-L6).
  • For previously invisible stains and organic matter, a fix was implemented.
  • Ship ammunition and heat sink supplies are no longer filled up automatically when you enter Supercruise (sorry).
  • Science contact - fixed donations for the science contact (CG contribution), whereby the donation event is fired as soon as an input enters, so that the impression arises that donations are only possible in each case a material.
  • (Do not try too loud to cheer, you could wake someone) Elite Dangerous should now stop "clean" without the "black screen hanging".
