Nintendo Switch sold through Thanksgiving
Meanwhile, Pokemon Sword and Shield in America achieved sales of 3 million.
In recent weeks of a year, significant sales increases in consoles and games are repeatedly recorded, and the switch can show some really impressive figures this year. It was not only very good in the United Kingdom over the Black Friday and enjoys a sales increase in Japan, but - as already reported - also excellent sales in the USA.
Nintendo has confirmed in a press release that the Switch has sold 830,000 units during the Thanksgiving Week in the US, which makes it in relation to sales at the best week of all time for the Switch in the US. As the reasons for these high turnover, Nintendo named the publication of the Switch Lite and several Black Friday offers and packages.
The press release also contains updated sales for software. Pokemon Sword and Shield - which were sold at the start of the world for 6 million times - have sold over 3 million times in America.
There were also new sales figures known for other games in the region Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 8.5 million, super Smash Bros. Ultimate at 8 million, super Mario Odyssey at 6.5 million and Neues Super Mario Bros. u deluxe 1.5 million.
