Star Citizen: Crowdfunding achieves a new million

The space game Star Citizen continues to attract numerous fans who like to put their money into the development of the project. As the team of Cloud Imperium Games announced, crowdfunding recently achieved another million milestone.

The corresponding counter on the official website shows that the financing campaign has meanwhile introduced more than $ 442 million, which should flow into the development of Star Citizen. This is not only a considerable number for itself, but also clearly shows that the funds from the ranks of the community continue to flow vigorously. For comparison: Only in November of last year, the crowdfunding action was at about $ 410 million. Accordingly, 32 million dollars have been added within a few months. The current sum spreads to over 3.5 million spendable fans, which the project has previously financially supported.

An end to support does not seem to be in sight. The same, however, also applies to a concrete release date for Star Citizen. So far, Cloud Imperium Games has not announced when the space game should appear - same applies to the single player offshoot Squadron 42.
