Removent examination of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Just as in the past
Call of Responsibility 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooting computer game Developed by Infinity Ward as well as edited by Activision on Windows, Mac OS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, in addition to a Nintendo DS Portable Console Variation in November 2007. It is concentrated on Wii by Treyarch in November 2009, subtitled Reflex Edition. Likewise, a remastered version is out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and also Windows under the title Call of Responsibility: Modern Warfare Remastered. The game occurs in modern times, unlike previous episodes that occurred throughout the Second Globe Battle. The game knows 2 straight collections named Telephone call of Task: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is beautiful on PS4 and, to the surprise of anyone, works exceptionally. I loved the game in 2009 and I always consider this time as the days of glory of the franchise. Like many, I was more invested in the multiplayer, but I remembered a few out-of-competition missions and campaign parts like a Michael Bay summer blockbuster. However, there were several missions that I had forgotten and I loved replaying in all their remastered glory.
The globe-trot adventure of Roach, SOAP and Captain Price at the beginning of the third world war is more exhilarating than ever in 4k with textures, lighting, animations, physics and a considerably improved sound design. It is a testimony of the game design, because the technical updates are only improving an already phenomenal gaming experience. Compared to the latest call of duty campaigns, some sequences seem a little dated, but missions like Cliffhanger, The Gulag and the classic final remain among my favorites in the history of the franchise.
On a technical level, improving the destruction of the environment and lighting are the main strengths. Sunsets, fire, projectors, mouth lightning and ambient glow of certain areas are amazing, as well as surface reflection such as wet walls, glass and blood puddles. Destructible environments are more consistent with what we expect shooters today because they evoke the power of weapons you handle. Further details such as the textures of your gloves and cuffs can be easily ignored, but they are impressive aspects that contribute to the presentation.
As the current modern war, you can admire your weapons through short animations by pressing the directional keypad. Beenox has remaste complexly every corner of this game, up to the shades of each weapon design. Parallel to their clever appearances, many of the weapons received a sound updated when shooting and reloading. Fortunately, some of my favorites, including the ACR, SCAR and the G18 have received the treatment they deserve, and the 1887 model always has this T2 reloading animation. I can not determine if the global mix of music or game has been radically changed, but it sounds in tandem with action.
The novelties of the remastered version are difficult, fun and visual game modifiers unlocked by collecting information scattered around missions. Cheating codes like invisible enemies, slow mode, pineapple heads, infinite ammunition and fun animations dramatically modify how you live the campaign. I have not gained modifiers, but they seem so amusing in the videos I ve seen. I am still encouraged to replay the campaign on a veteran, but the inclusion of modifiers considerably increases replayability.
The new improved museum returns to the end of the countryside, and it still seems strange to slaughter the living models exposed. Whether you treated it as an interactive history summary or a glorified firearms range, it s an interesting feature that I m happy to see.
I am not entirely disappointed by the exclusion of the classic multiplayer component of the game because Infinity Ward confirmed that some cards are heading towards the current modern war. I actively play Modern Warfare on PC and I m incredibly excited to see what the Modern Warfare 2 cards look like today. I love most of them, but I cross the fingers for Afghan, favela, highrise and terminal beyond the rest. However, since the campaign is relatively short and that competitive multiplayer modes and Spec Ops are absent, the price of $ 40 may seem a little steep for some.
Modern Warfare 2 is easily in my five best cod campaigns, and I was delighted with its surprise exit. The PS4 exclusivity of a month is a disappointment, but that you are a fan of the original or interested in throwing you for the first time, I strongly recommend recovering it on your respective platform when it is available. Beenox continues to contribute greatly to Call of Duty, and Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is without a doubt their best job so far.
